Why is my hold taking so long to arrive?
There are many reasons why it could take a long time for your hold to arrive. The obvious reason is that there are many people ahead of you in the queue. Also, if another county owns the item and it was bought recently, you might not be able to get it for months. Other counties have the right to restrict holds for the items that they own. Often they will make their new items only available to their own residents for a period of time that they determine. That means others on the hold list will get the item before you.
